Bruce McPherson is the President of Clarion Drone Academy Inc. and an expert in unmanned systems training. With a background in electronics and automation, he founded Medsoft Canada and later acquired Pointer Avionics Ltd., developing Canada’s only aircraft emergency beacon technology. He has led certification projects with Transport Canada, the FAA, and EASA. Bruce created "Flyte Clone," a UAV tracking app, and has directed Clarion Drone Academy into key markets like search and rescue, policing, and mapping. He specializes in UAV training, design certification, and regulatory updates, advancing drone technology across multiple industries.

Bill, COO of Clarion Drone Academy, has over 30 years of leadership in security, law enforcement, and emergency management. He specializes in government contracts, project management, and strategic planning. With a background in counterintelligence, intelligence analysis, and enforcement, Bill has worked with Fisheries and Oceans, the Ministry of Natural Resources, and provincial agencies. His expertise in contract negotiation strengthens Clarion’s work with military and government clients. Bill holds certifications in law enforcement, firearms, riot control, first aid, and radio communications. His experience in public safety and unmanned systems makes him a key asset in drone training and operations.

Clarke
Darren Clarke, Chief RPAS Pilot and Systems Trainer at Clarion Drone Academy, has over 10 years of RPAS experience and is a certified RPAS instructor. He holds an Advanced Transport Canada Pilot Certificate for RPAS and is a Flight Reviewer. Darren is also an accredited ROC-A Radio Examiner with ISED. With extensive airport operations experience at CYYZ and work with large aircraft (737, 747, 777), he brings strong aviation expertise. He has worked with military and police clients, ensuring RPAS operators meet high operational standards. His mission is to develop top-tier pilots who excel in the global drone industry.
